This week a very special friend, and talented photographer
passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer.Violet was the very first person to give me a
when I joined DA almost 7 years ago, and we became instant friends. Her wonderful photography always put me in awe, she truly inspired me, and she always had a kind and encouraging word.
As a tribute to her, here are just a few of my favorites.
I never tire of looking at her wonderful work.
It's A Colorful World
- Man needs color to live; it's just as necessary an element as fire and water. 'Fernand Leger' - All colors are the friends of their neighbors and the lovers of their opposites. 'Marc Chagall' - Color is a power which directly influences the soul. 'Wassily Kandinkuy' - Life is about using the whole box of crayons. 'unknown'

It has been a long time since I did a Feature Journal and it is all very different from what I remember. But here I go, "embracing the change"; not an easy thing to do.
